This opportunity is for a
on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will be responsible to test stand mechanical and hydraulic setups. Coordinate with DT Test planning group, test stand technician, fixture design group, and test engineer to complete all mechanical and hydraulic portions of a test bay setup. Coordinate delivery of all parts and designs needed for a test stand setup per schedule and parameters set forth by the planning group and test engineer. Work with the DT Test Design hydraulic engineer and technician to deliver all hydraulic components to test bay and define interface points to the unit under test and fixtures.
Utilize the test bay layout and layout generated BOM to develop required BOM for the test stand setup.
Manage the coordination and delivery of fixture parts and all supporting equipment and hardware to test bay per the test schedule.
Provide technical expertise for test stand setups including auxiliary fixtures, drivelines, guarding, hardware and hydraulic components.
Participate in fixture design reviews.
Lead test stand design reviews with test engineer and technician.
Manage hydraulic and mechanical interfaces to UUT.
Perform trial fits of first time fixtures prior to test stand setup start.
Write work orders and provide instructions for fixture sub-assemblies as appropriate.
Write machine shop work orders to reclaim test fixture parts as needed.
Document reclaims and initiate Vivid projects to complete reclaim work or to initiate improvements to fixture designs.
Document any changes to the setup in the bay layout assembly.
Follow all established fixture design group processes.
Coordinate with facilite on test bay equipment maintenance and upgrades.
Initiate and drive improvements in the bay setup process to reduce the setup time.

Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Development Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Acquisitions Process (CAP). - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Knowledge of Product Delivery Process programs. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, and may teach others.

Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, and may teach others.
Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit.
Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
