Our EH&S professional needs to be able to lead from education – a Bachelor’s degree – and at least 5 years’ of EH&S experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  You must have detailed & extensive PSM (Process Safety Management) experience along with excellent communications skill and the ability to work with all individuals at all plant levels – including visitors & contractors.  If you have your Master’s degree and/or CSP (Certified Safety Professional), your resume will get immediate attention!  We are seeking hands-on in a manufacturing plant EH&S manager and will not consider candidates from the corporate world or consultants.
 
**The Kansas plant is seeking a candidate who is an expert in PSM!  .  It needs to be thoroughly documented on your resume.  You will need to show your knowledge of the steps of PSM and PSM regulatory compliance.  You must be an expert in PSM!  **

At the center of all your responsibilities, will be the drive to ensure & enhance environmental & safety compliances and protect the working health of employees, visitors, & contractors.  You’ll use your knowledge of state & state OSHA, VPP, EPA, & other regulatory bodies, along with corporate policies to keep your people safe & healthy while respecting the environment.
 
Daily, you will have close interaction with all management at the facility.  There is a support staff that will report directly to you.  Will facilitate Safety Team meetings.  Implement proactive accident prevention practices to safety.  Will also interact with Corporate EHS professionals.  Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.  Maintain all safety programs.  All documentation and reporting that is related to safety.
