Oversee the baking process and technique for multiple production lines ensuring high quality products.
Train other Operators on the proper processes and techniques of baking high quality products.
Responsible for producing products within the specified quality requirements.
Monitor baking process and product appearance at all times and take corrective actions as necessary.
Monitor changeovers from one formula to another and from one size to another.
Ensure correct formula of flour on front end of process and check quality at tail end of process.
May fill out process control forms.
Monitor production schedule as indicated by Lead or Supervisor.
Maintain the work area clean and safe.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Eight years retail/commercial experience in baking
Certified Master Baker under Retail Bakers of America (RBA)
30 hours of sanitation coursework focusing on sanitation principles offered by a school, government agency or association.
30 hours of professional development training focusing on bakery management, bakery production or management and supervisor
Good math skills
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Be able to communicate effectively
Able to work under low supervision
