Your role within the organization will be to drive new product development and innovative technologies to meet business needs.
Provide technical support to the commercial and operations groups to help close new business opportunities and expand company’s intellectual property.
This is a critical role that is responsible for translating ideas and new technologies into profitable customer specific and stock products.
Partner with the Design & Innovation teams, as well as customers and management, to create technical solutions and meet development needs – improved barrier properties, advanced molding technologies, polymer material properties, etc.
This position will be based out of the company’s state of the art technical center that was created to help revolutionize the customer experience and drive innovation in the industry.
NJ - eastern New Jersey near the Philly border - nice suburbs, top schools and many outdoor activities.
Close to several major metropolitan areas and the eastern shore.
To be successful in this critical role:
Bachelor’s degree (BS in Engineering, or similar. PMP certification is a plus.)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project managemen, and proven capabilities as a self-directed leader of cross functional teams capable of driving projects forward in a timely manner.
Strong computer skills - Office, CAD, SolidWorks, IQMS, Oracle, ERP systems, etc.
Experience with plastic materials and converting processes - preferably two or more of the following: injection molding, injection stretch blow molding, injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding.
Experience with packaging is a big plus.
