We are working exclusively with a growing Manufacturing company in Fort Worth that has recently doubled in size. They are searching for an innovative, energetic and driven
to bring a fresh perspective to the Production team. This position will report to the VP of Operations and will be mentored by the COO as well.
Do you possess at least 5 years of experience in leading, motivating and mentoring supervisors, organizing shifts, developing people, implementing policies and procedures, taking financial responsibility for your production department and enjoy taking on a challenge?
We are looking for someone who is currently a Production Manager or Operations Manager that is looking for a new challenge. Do to their phenomenal growth, they are looking for fresh and experienced talent to help revamp the infrastructure of the Production department so that everyone is producing safely and as efficient as possible.
Managing Direct and Indirect reports which includes the training, streamlining processes, hiring, mentoring Supervisors and motivating all shifts
Manage 2 to 3 Production Supervisors for 2 shifts and indirectly manage about 20 to 25 production operators
Implement an on-boarding and training program for new hires and ongoing training for employees
Create, implement and streamline efficient production processes across both shifts
Create and implement proactive Policies and Procedures that will allow everyone to understand the expectations and be held accountable
Partner with the scheduling department to ensure product is available in a timely manner
Partner with the Safety team to ensure steps are being taken and followed that will continue to keep safety a top priority
Budget Management and fiscal responsibility for the department
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred but experience will be taken into consideration
5+ years of experience in a Management level role
Proven ability to develop direct and indirect teams
Experience writing and implementing policies and procedures
Experience creating and implementing a training program
Experience in Budget creation and taking fiscal responsibility for the department
Ability to take ownership of the department and work the production shifts as needed
