The Quality Manager role is to assure that the quality of service performed and the product produce is at the highest level to satisfy the needs and requirements of the customer both before and after the sale.
Maintains an awareness of current international quality standards, while maintaining an updated library of quality manuals.
Retains contact with manufacturers and licensees of company pertaining to any quality issues that may arise.
Analyzes and consults on new product reviews.
Provides necessary training of personnel to maintain the quality of the organization.
Plans and assures quality management and annual quality improvement.
Provides necessary executive reports on quality.
Provides consumer feedback networks to assure quality and satisfaction of customers (internal and external).
Plans and coordinates corrective action for non-conformance within the company.
Monitors and administrates the corrective action database.
Provides budgeting and auditing of the quality system to assure control of the system.
Responsible for maintenance and management of the quality system.
Assures that quality policies and processes are implemented and controlled, and that goals and objectives are achieved at the lowest possible costs.
Develops and maintains cost of quality program; analyzes and coordinates costs related.
Responsible for the procurement of test, inspection and measuring equipment, and the development and maintenance of policies and processes for its use.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Three years of relative experience in the quality profession in a manufacturing environment.
Two years of hands on, practical experience maintaining quality system standards..
