LOCATION
Candidate must be willing to relocate to Wisconsin.
 
POSITION
Our client is looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of VP of Sales.  Work with a worldwide industry leader being part of an experienced international team that focuses on a global vision and core values which will offer you growth and continued opportunity.    
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the area’s overall P&L including responsibility for sales, gross margin, and operating margins
  • Motivate the sales team to provide optimum customer service while maximizing profits
  • Actively promote company products
  • Assess and communicate the needs of the area to the company
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate sales forecasts and their timely transmission to the company
  • Participate in the formation of group sales strategy and policies in conjunction with the Company Commercial Director and other area managers
  • Ensure that the company’s global strategy is deployed in the area
  • Enhance customer and company relationships by improving communication, training, and technical support.
  • Promote interdepartmental communication and information exchange between company facilities.
  • Responsible for deploying and managing company commercial policies within North America regarding:
    • The prospection and penetration of markets
    • Pricing, warranties, and sales techniques
    • Reporting and profitability for the area
  • Manage Distributor and OEM Application Engineering Department
  • Manage the technical relationship between Company and customer from proposal through life of the machine.
  • Follow in relation with sales the contract review between Company and the customer.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals.
  • Perform other duties as required
 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent business experience.  (Master’s degree preferred in related field of study). 
  • Previous management experience in sales B to B is required. 
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience. 
  • Experience with managing, directing, and motivating sales staff either directly or indirectly.
