Great Maintenance Engineering Opportunity with Global Pharmaceutical Leader!
Global leader in the development and production of pharmaceutical seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities at the companys flagship site about 90 miles west of Albany NY in a rural community. Most employees live in a community of about 50k 25 minutes from the plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage and oversee day-to-day operations of a maintenance department or shift. He or she will work with production to prioritize maintenance projects and repairs; including work order systems, MOC documentation, spare parts inventory.
Requirements
A four year degree from a U.S. recognized college or university, preferably in engineering or other technical
2+ years experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry.
Computer competency, arithmetic and algebra competency, reading and writing skills
Excellent oral communications skills and the ability to mentor and manage subordinates
Knowledge of basic industrial maintenance, ability to interpret quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
Must have experience in Solid Dose Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility
