Hardware Engineer-System Integration Job in Austin Texas (TX)

CTG is currently searching for two Hardware Engineers to work on high speed system design, development, and debug for next generation Mid-Range server. This will be a long term W2 contract position with a Fortune 100 company. Candidates local to Austin, TX are highly preferred by the client.

Project Duration : 12 to 24 Months?renewable contract (W-2 only?no C2C or 1099 please)

Project Location: Austin, TX (Arboretum area)





DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will be working on High speed System Design, Development and Debug for power, space and cooling constrained environments required by blades.

This includes understanding of the Architecture, system design parameters, thermal, acoustics and mechanical constraints along with detailed knowledge of all system functions and their debug.

It includes understanding of logic design and schematic entry of high speed electronic circuit cards, followed by bringup and system integration activities for complex functional verification.

Includes support of formal test activities via defect analysis and resolution.

Involves (Engineering Change) EC release of design to manufacturing and on going support for internal and external shipment including system and card failure analysis and field support.



REQUIREMENTS:

Electrical Engineering degree

Has Professional, theoretical and applied knowledge in System Hardware Engineering.

Performs Engineering design, analysis, experimentation and documentation.

Understands and applies latest technologies for designs.

Participates in project planning activities, analyzes situations and helps provide solutions to complex problems in System Hardware Engineering

Communicates in a timely and effective manner.

Negotiates solutions and effectively applies group dynamics to resolve and understand complex technical issues.

Applies professional knowledge of product and Manufacturing processes within and across department boundaries. Suggests improvements as required. Also assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Shows initiative and drive in implementing new and cutting edge technology solutions in designs. Proficient at recognizing complex problems ahead of time and implementing solutions to resolve them.
