Maintenance Manager Job in Beaumont Texas (TX)

MAINTENANACE MANAGER

·         Create maintenance and reliability goals, objectives, policies, and metrics as they relate to site mechanical equipment.  Drive improvement to these guidelines.

·         Key project manager for internal maintenance staff and external contractors.  Set all project priorities and keep team on task, eliminating obstacles for success.

·         Ensure SOP’s, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance Plans are accurate and meaningful.

·         Monitors plant maintenance activities and performance.

·         Manage Maintenance Budget, in collaboration with your team.

·         Manage yearly maintenance capital budget, in collaboration with your team

·         Audit payments to contractors.

·         Participate in appropriate committees.

·         Be a HS&E and Quality programs/systems sponsor as it relates to Maintenance.

·         Assure appropriate staffing in Maintenance and Reliability functions, both in numbers and effectiveness.

·         Develop and review goals/targets performance, quarterly, and provide an appraisal for each salaried of maintenance employee, yearly.

·         Performs special projects, as assigned, by the Vice President, Manufacturing, to ensure cost effective complex maintenance services.

·         Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of all personnel on site.  Whenever appropriate, promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental incidents or issues to management so the situation can be corrected.  Attend Monthly Safety Meetings to help prevent off site and job accidents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         B.S. Degree in Engineering.

·         Ten years experience in chemical or petrochemical plant equipment maintenance management. 

·         3 years Experience in Ethylene, Polyethylene, or Styrene Refinery Environment

·         Must come from a large refinery environment.
