Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing direction and support to a team of mechanics. Primary focus is to lead the maintenance team to successfully meet plant and corporate objectives.
Accountabilities
Lead maintenance activities.
Educate, develop, and motivate a manufacturing maintenance work group to achieve required production results.
Interface daily with mechanics, production team leaders, and operators.
Initiate work requests, methods, operating standards, or training to continuously improve maintenance performance.
Prioritize work requests and scheduled work with the Business Unit Team.
Coordinate tracking and reporting of maintenance data in accordance with objectives and metrics.
Participate in development and implementation of department objectives.
Participate in department maintenance/operations meetings.
Function as technical resource for assigned Business Unit Team.
Lead CI development and ingrain usage in maintenance department.
Audit preventive and corrective maintenance work to ensure quality craftsmanship and effective work completion.
