My client is a world class manufacturer of consumer products and we are looking to find a Maintenance Superintendent for their Daytona Beach area manufacturing facility. We are looking for an experienced maintenance manager superintendent level individual with progressive experience. The responsibilities would involve the supervision of the maintenance department that includes a maintenance supervisor mechanics and electricians. In addition this individual will be responsible for the following:
Establishing and communicating maintenance goals
Implementing predictive and preventive maintenance programs and procedures
Working with a computerized maintenance planning system such as SAP or Maximo
Managing the maintenance budget and allocation for spare parts and supplies
Coordination of activities of workers rebuilding or overhauling equipment
Developing and implementing equipment reliability programs
Managing maintenance projects
Interfacing with production and quality in order to review and improve machine performance issues
Coaching and mentoring employees in order to foster employee growth
Skills Education and Experience Required
BS Engineering or equivalent degree
Maintenance management experience
Experience in a filling or bottling plant that is preferably FDA regulated
Experience with a computerized maintenance management program
Experienced and desire in developing and implementing progressive maintenance policies and procedures
Experience in a Lean or Six Sigma environment
