Mechanical Engineer for 6 month (+) contract assignment in Mexico for a Leaf Spring Manufacturing Company located in Mexico.

We are in need of a Mechanical Engineer with experience in leaf spring or air-beams manufacturing.

The candidate must have leaf springs manufacturing experience preferably involved in R&D, Production, Product Development, Process and Quality Control.

Must be familiar with general design of commercial vehicles' suspension systems (mechanical properties) and understand the basic metallurgical properties of the materials used in the manufacturing of leaf springs (multi-leaf, parabolic and air-beams).

This is a young, fast-growing and well-capitalized organization with active customers in the Tier-1 and Aftermarket segments in North and South America and intent on market expansion.

The candidate will oversee and guide the company's endeavors in the development of new products, utilizing a recently installed production line specialized in parabolic springs and air-beams.

This position is for a specific period of time (6 to 8 months) to be immediately followed by extension on the contract if agreed by both parties.
