We are currently seeking a manufacturing-centric Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop electronic parts or components for electronic equipment and other hardware systems for high speed automated assembly equipment. In this role, you will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability for high speed automated equipment, and support all aspects of electronic controls development from determination of needs and requirements through fulfillment of function machine control solutions.

A background utilizing computer aided engineering design and analysis software in the proper design, selection and application production of machine control components, including using CAD for electronic layout wiring of automated equipment.

Education/Experience Required:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, BSEE preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of machine controls design, development, and engineering experience in small part, high speed manufacturing systems.
Extensive knowledge and experience in CAD for electronic layout wiring of automated equipment.
Understanding of automation methods such as part transfer and fixturing, process tooling, pneumatics, lead screws, cam devices, stepper/servo motors, drive systems, slide systems, sensor technologies and application, and machine control systems.
PC literate in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
