Manufacturing Engineer Manager Job in Huntsville Alabama (AL)

Electronic manufacturing operation in central Tennessee is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer Manager. BS Engineer degree required. Position will manage, organize, train, and direct the activities of approximately 15 engineers and technicians. Manufacturing engineering department is responsible for all new product launches, process improvements, sales schedules, work instructions, process implementation along with Kaizen improvement activities. Position will support the Operations department, working closely with the Manufacturing Planning and Test Engineering Groups. Will report to the Director of Operations.

Candidate should have 10 years strong manufacturing engineering experience within the electronics manufacturing arena, with a least 5 years experience in direct supervision of engineering personnel. Should have broad knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and problems with emphasis on process improvement and new product launch activities. Must prove through example Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for the Quality of the Process
