Must have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related with at least 10 years experience in industrial manufacturing and process controls, capital project management. Responsible for the development and oversight of Product Design, methods of manufacture and coordinates engineering activity between Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Materials. . Directs, leads and coordinates activities of engineering department to provide direct support to Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality regarding implementing changes to design documents, components and processes. Responsible for supporting Engineering Change Order activities associated with products manufactured. Devises and implements design, document and process improvements to improve quality, reduce costs, and speed products to market. Supervises a department of 4-10 employees. Must know AutoCad and SolidWorks
