JOB TITLE: Environmental Specialist (Air)
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
·        This position is responsible for certain environmental efforts across the site.  The Environmental Specialist will interface with the appropriate ESH and manufacturing resources to resolve implement or delegate environmental requirements.
·        This position is responsible for but not limited to the following:
o       Supporting the compliance process for the facility as the subject matter expert for assigned environmental programs.
o       Facilitating the completion of regulatory reports such as the Emission Inventory, Toxic Release Inventory, Title V deviation reports, and air regulatory reports (NSPS, NESHAP, MACT).
o       Assisting with air permitting, including Title V and New Source Review.
o       Maintaining a favorable image with communities, regulatory agencies and other companies through active involvement with the TCEQ, EPA, TCC and neighboring facilities.
o       Chairing site environmental incident investigation teams. .

REQUIREMENTS:
·        B.S. Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
·        2 years experience working with environmental regulations.
·        Understanding of chemical plant operations.
·        Experience in water, hazardous waste, and other regulations is a plus
