DescriptionA leading Electrical and Mechanical products company selling to the Oil Well Drilling market is looking for an experienced outside sales person to further penetrate the Gulf market with specific experience in the oil well drilling market.
The Gulf market includes Texas, Louisianna and Oklahoma. The candidate should live on one of theres states.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sales of industrial electrical and mechanical components into the oil well drilling market and some industrial accounts within the Gulf Region (Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma). Individual will be responsible for developing new accounts/maintaining some existing accounts and supporting after market parts support. Individual will be responsible for managing their own account package and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
Candidate Requirements
5 years experience in distribution sales, selling electrical and mechanical components into new and existing oil well drilling accounts
Strong oil well drilling customer contacts are mandatory.
Demonstrated success in selling motors, drives, controls and other electrical and mechanical components at the MRO is level is essential.
Team player who values ethical relationships with vendors, customers, employees, peers and the management team.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
A track record of success in a highly independent environment with minimal oversight and adaptability to a high growth, changing environment.
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Marketing is preferred. Work experience and success will be weighed heavily when assessing a candidates viability.
Travel:
Travel within assigned territories as required.
