with Experience Downstream Oil and Gas Refining & Petrochemicals processes and equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop Estimates for Economic Evaluation of Projects and for project controls Ranging from Plant Improvement Activities to new Ventures.
* Are Actively Involved in a Variety of Assignments Dealing with Development of Safety, Environment,
* Capacity, Energy, and New Technology Related Projects.
* Participate in Value Engineering Activities to Optimize Facilities Basis.
* Support Multi-Disciplined Integrated Teams in Optimizing Front-End Project Development.
* Utilize Cost Estimating Methodology and Procedures to Generate Estimates of Conceptual Designs.
* Are Exposed to Multiple Chemical Business Units and Worldwide Operations.
* Work in Conjunction with Vendors, Contractors, Alliances and JV Partners, as well as, our Clients other Affiliates.
* Develop Cost Methods/Tools as well as Data Analysis for Estimates
* Provide Estimate Basis Memorandum for Alignment of all Cost Engineering Efforts
* Control Project Cost and Schedule, Evaluate Contractor Progress and Implement Corrective Action
* Consult on other Project Management Issues:
* Turnaround / Project Interface Coordination
* Project Resource Planning
* Investment Planning
* Project Expenditure Profiles
* Contracting and Procurement
* Capital / Expense Evaluations
* Audit / Business Controls
* Project Accounting, Asset Register and Asset Valuation
* Sales / Property Tax Evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Project Management Experience is Desired, Preferably in the Oil & Gas Refining and / or Petrochemical Industry but other industries with major projects may do.
* Must be able to Speak and Write Concisely and Persuasively; Interact Effectively with Peers, Across Organizational Lines, and in Diverse Teams; and Demonstrate Good Business Judgment, Results Orientation, Leadership, and Creativity.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree In Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Electrical Engineering) OR A BSC IN FINANCE OR ECONOMICS OR BUSINESS
Work Experience ESTIMATING in the Oil and Gas Refining and / or Petrochemical Industry Performing the Specified Functions.

A HISTORY OF STABLE EMPLOYMENT - no frequent change of employers

FAVORABLE REFERENCES FROM PRIOR SUPERVISORS

Willingness to do business travel up to 30% overnights and to discuss opportunities for assignment - nearly always family status - to various USA and overseas locations.
